Caroline has leukemia and is currently going through chemo. To keep herself healthy and positive, she practices yoga with her personal teacher, Dhan. They meet at Dhan's house once a week (unless Caroline isn't feeling well enough to make the journey) and Julie, if she's there, will make treats while Dhan and Caroline do yoga. 

 

Caroline is 33 years old, married to her high school sweet heart, Ryan. They were pregnant but ended up losing the baby so that Caroline could go through chemo and get healthy again. They plan on trying again when she beats it. She's got more tattoos than are shown and has a whole slew of earrings that she loves to wear. That spot on her leg is her birth mark.

 

Ryan is an african animal rehabilitation worker and helps with a lot of zoos and animal refugee systems to help sick or abandoned animals assimilate into regular life. He favors the elephants. Since Caroline has gotten sick, Ryan's put his african duties on hold and switched to working at a local zoo so he can be at home. He enjoys doing some spare yoga in the afternoons with his wife and tending to her. He LOVES doing pottery and their house is filled with african inspired pots. One thing about Ryan though...he's a hoarder.
