When he was really young, Coriander was hit by a falling star and from that he received his star face markings. He has fuzzy memories of what happened that night after all this time passing, but he does remember seeing a small puppy-like-animal seemingly emerging from the fallen star. 

 

Since the falling star incident, Coriander's body gained yellow markings and that opened the gateway for him to be unaccepted by society. His best friend, Dublin, has accepted him since day one and they continue to conquer life together. 

 

Coriander is goofy and enjoys pulling small, harmless pranks on Dublin.
