Since birth, Nick has lived in the little town of Moshi (located at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro). Although blind, Nick has the unique ability of being able to see through another's eyes (so long as they are willing). With this gift, he works as a search and rescue dog for mountain climbers.
That was before Irving showed up in his town and they became partners.
