Catch a glimpse of the Alamerri kingdom
A HISTORY OF EVENTS in alamerri
1286
George Alamerri is born. He is the 4th royal heir to the Almerri Kingdom. He is born right after his father’s war, which raged on for 12 long years.
1291
A life long friendship is forged when George and Barnaby meet for the first time. At this time, George has not yet started his royal training.
1294
Training has started for George to become the next king. He often sneaks away to hang out with Barnaby and Reilo instead.
1296
George’s dad forbids his friendship to any village folk, forcing George to train as his heir full time. This is when George and Barnaby lose touch.
1300
A new century begins and with it, George’s rule. His father succumbs to his alcoholism and the title and kingdom fall to his son, King George.
1310
10 Years after King George has ruled, he starts to weed out his father’s old counsel and replace them with his own trusted members, like Brulee.
Barnaby and Reilo would routinely sneak George out from beyond the castle walls to involve him in their plans.
More often than not, the adventures involved raiding old caves full of treasure. On one of their trips, King George found himself a mighty fine crown, perhaps it is the very same one that he has worn every day since.
Brulee is a descendent of a long line of Chimeras. While the natural omen of a Chimera is to be one of disaster, Brulee has proven that he does not live up to that stigma.
He is an accomplished war general, surviving 4 long battles from the front lines. It helps when you have a snake watching your back! King George trusts Brulee with the lives of everyone in his kingdom.
During the long year that it took to take back one of his outlying villagers, King George would often doubt his ability to rule. He would frequently remove his crown in private, hold it in his paws, and try to think about what his father would do.
It was during moments like this that Moniker, his trusted advisor, would step in and provide King George with insight into his own ruling style. Reminding the young king that all rulers must face moments like this to stand up and know their values.
You would never know that they had been distant for so long given the way Barnaby and King George got along together. It was as if no time had passed at all between them. George needed the release that relaxing time with Barnaby brought. Finally, a chance to be himself with no judgement or royal attitudes.
These two have been known to knock back some ale!
1320
After a decade long ruling under King George, which had been prosperous, the village fell victim to their first siege from a neighboring kingdom.
1321
King George and his armies finally rescue the outlying village and secure their borders. There is now an official enemy of the kingdom in 50 years.
1331
10 years of defending the kingdom has taken it’s toll on the resources of the land. The castle has sold off its art collection to support the needy.
1332
While out on a walk, King George and Barnaby reunite. As if no time has passed, these two easily become best friends once again.
1335
The kingdom is starting to show signs of prospering again. Yet, on the verge of King George's 50th birthday, he is besieged by an arrogant cousin.
1336
No longer the king, George has been removed from his castle and placed among the village folks. They care for him as if he was still their king.

from envy to love
Brulee spent a lot of his formative years believing love was something you had to earn every single day from someone who was not willing to easily give it...if at all. His childhood was full of dutiful respect, obligations, and trusting that everything would pay off in the future. Medusir was a cruel father, choosing to spend most of his time in the confines of his private study. Despite not being around, he had eyes and ears on Brulee at all times and required the boy to always do as he said. It made for a miserable life for both of them and one that Brulee would leave after he was granted the role of Commander among King George's army forces.
After escaping from his life, Brulee was introduced to a world where he could see the respect and admiration in the eyes of others as they looked at him. He was thought of in high regards by those he lead as someone with bravery, conviction, a sharp mind, and a trustworthy soul. King George is someone whom Brulee would give his life for in an instant, feeling as if he owes all his current happiness directly back to the benevolent ruler. It was also through King George that Brulee met his other half. A surly Lynx who seemed to have disdain for most in the world. Yet someone who felt familiar and comforting to Brulee. It took a long time for the two to be on terms where they could have a casual conversation.
Queso hailed from a life of access, which afforded him the ability to learn many new languages and use this skill to earn a set at the King's table as a cultural diplomat. This history of knowledge and learning was what sparked a friendship between the two, as their love of books was too strong to ignore. As Queso would travel to other countries, he would bring back fascinating trinkets and books to gift to his friend, Brulee. And likewise, when without company, Brulee would read from the royal Library and bring the books he found particularly enticing back to Queso's room for him to read upon his return.
Eventually, secret book readings turned into more as the two realized and acted on their developing feelings. However they feel it is best for the Kingdom if the two were to remain secret in their affairs. They meet outside the confines of the castle walls for intimate moments stolen away between them, often reading into the late hours of the night.
